HEYJOM ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
(FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS)

Applies To: All Event Organizers using HeyJom services globally, including Registration, EPC, Timing, Results, Photo Marketplace, Event Calendar, Advertising, White-Label Apps, and related services.


1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) ensures that all events hosted on HeyJom are safe, legal, ethical, and aligned with HeyJom’s mission to activate fitness and community responsibly worldwide.

This policy supplements the Online Registration Agreement and any other agreement between HeyJom and the Organizer.


2. Permitted Use

Organizers may use HeyJom only for lawful sports, fitness, recreational, community, or approved lifestyle events.

Events must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the country or region where the event is held
  • Obtain all required permits, licenses, insurance, and approvals
  • Provide accurate and truthful event information
  • Maintain reasonable safety standards for participants

3. Prohibited Events and Activities

Organizers must NOT use HeyJom for events that involve:

3.1 Illegal Activities

  • Drug use or trafficking
  • Unlicensed gambling
  • Fraud, scams, or misleading promotions
  • Any criminal activity

3.2 Dangerous or Unsafe Events

  • Events without proper safety planning
  • Activities with unreasonable risk of harm
  • Violations of health, safety, or environmental regulations

3.3 Political or Extremist Activities

  • Political campaigning or partisan rallies
  • Events promoting hate, extremism, or discrimination

3.4 Offensive or Unethical Content

  • Lewd, obscene, or violent content
  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Content that damages HeyJom’s reputation

4. Organizer Responsibilities

4.1 Event Compliance

Organizers must:

  • Obtain permits and approvals
  • Ensure participant safety planning
  • Maintain appropriate insurance

4.2 Accurate Information

Organizers must:

  • Provide correct event details
  • Update changes promptly
  • Honour participant entitlements

4.3 Financial Integrity

Organizers must:

  • Use fair and transparent pricing
  • Honour stated refund policies
  • Avoid misleading marketing

4.4 Data Protection

Organizers must:

  • Comply with applicable data-protection laws (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, or equivalent)
  • Use participant data only for event purposes
  • Not sell or misuse participant data

4.5 Platform Integrity

Organizers must NOT:

  • Attempt to hack, copy, or reverse engineer HeyJom systems
  • Bypass fees or payment systems
  • Create fake registrations or bots
  • Misuse white-label apps or APIs

5. Participant Safety & ESG Standards

Because HeyJom supports large-scale global events, organizers must meet minimum standards:

  • Route or venue safety planning
  • Medical support plan
  • Crowd management
  • Environmental responsibility
  • Fair treatment of staff and volunteers

6. Payments and Refunds

Organizers must:

  • Honour refund policies
  • Inform HeyJom immediately if an event is cancelled or postponed
  • Accept that participant refunds may be processed where required

7. Enforcement

HeyJom may take action if this policy is violated:

  • Suspend event listing
  • Freeze payouts
  • Cancel registrations
  • Terminate agreement
  • Ban organizer
  • Report to authorities if required

8. Reporting Violations

HeyJom will investigate in good faith.


9. Policy Updates

HeyJom may update this policy as the platform expands globally. Continued use of HeyJom means acceptance of the updated policy.


10. Organizer Acknowledgement

By using HeyJom, the Organizer confirms:

  • They have read and accepted this AUP
  • Their event complies with all applicable laws
  • HeyJom may suspend or terminate services if violated
