IJN Fun For Your Heart 2024 is a running event that promotes the importance of heart health while inviting all runners to join the fun through creative event tee competition. Each runner will also be handed a vibrant balloon to carry along the route, adding a splash of colour and joy to your run.

1. Are there age limits for this event?
   • IJN Run for Your Heart is an event for all ages and abilities, so there is no age limit for this event. However, those under the age of 12 years old will be required to have the consent and supervision of an adult on race day.
2. Would it be feasible to arrange for the postage of the race pack if I'm unable to collect it on the specified date?
   • Yes. Kindly contact our event organisers to arrange for delivery and provide your mailing address. Additional postage fees may apply.
3. Can I have a representative to collect for my running pack?
   • Yes, you may appoint a representative. Kindly make sure the representative brings/shows your copy of Confirmation Slip for verification purposes.
4. Can I withdraw from the races?
   • Yes, of course, however we are unable to provide refunds.
5. What happens if it is raining on the event day?
   • The race day will continue as planned, with all races as planned. If there are adverse weather conditions such as thunder and lightning, we will delay the start times of the races until it is considered safe to run.
6. What time does the event finish?
   • It is subject to weather conditions. However, we are estimating the event to end at 11:30am.
7. Can I transfer my number to another runner?
   • Unfortunately, you are unable to transfer your running number.
8. Do I need to buy insurance?
   • All participants will be covered for TPD (RM20k) and hospitalisation up to RM500.
9. How to know if my registration is successful?
   • A confirmation slip will be emailed to your registered email during registration.

Participant Eligibility:

i) The fun run event is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels.

ii) Participants under the age of 12 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.

iii) Participants should be in good health and capable of completing the chosen distance.

Registration:

i) All participants must register online prior to the event.

ii) Registration fees may apply and are non-refundable.

iii) Participants must provide accurate personal information during registration.

Event Conduct:

i) All participants must display good sportsmanship and respect fellow participants, volunteers, and event staff.

ii) Participants must follow instructions from event organisers and abide by all event signage and markings.

Safety:

i) Participants are responsible for their own safety during the event.

ii) Running with headphones or other listening devices is permitted but participants must remain aware of their surroundings.

iii) Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course.

Course Regulations:

i) Participants must stay on the designated course at all times.

ii) Aid stations will be provided along the course for hydration and medical assistance if needed.

Event Tee Competition:

i) Participants may enter the event tee competition by showcasing their designs on the event date.

ii) Event organisers reserve the right to select winning designs based on creativity, originality, and adherence to guidelines.

Changes and Cancellations:

i) Event organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, course, or other aspects of the event as deemed necessary.

ii) In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the event may be postponed or canceled. Participants will be notified of any changes.

By registering for the fun run event, participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations. Event organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants who fail to comply with these guidelines or engage in any behaviour deemed detrimental to the event or its participants.
