About the event

Hello trail runners!
Trail Endurance Series 2024 is and endurance trail running event consists of 3 race series with the objective of reviving trail running
series in Malaysia.
With looping format, the 1st edition will take runners through 7 Hours endurance race with minimum 6.5km trail run and to complete 1 loop for Fast Trail category.

7 HOURS
Run for 7 hours and runners with most lap wins the race. Fastest overall time will be used for the tie breaker.
Requirement : Complete minimum 5 loops


FAST TRAIL
Fastest time to complete 1 loop distance will be declared as winner.


POINT SYSTEM
• To qualify as an overall winner, participants are required to participate in all series for the 7 HOURS category.
• Participants are not allowed to change categories throughout the competition season.
• A points system is available only for the top 20 winners of each series. The overall winner with the highest points will be awarded
as KING / QUEEN TRAIL ENDURANCE SERIES 2024

Registration Period / Entry Fees

Price excludes online payment fee by Online Registration Provider.
• Registration period will be closed if the overall limit of 500 pax is reached.
• 5% discount : Group registration 5 pax & above.
• 5% discount : Next series registration. System will detect your IC/Passport number during online registration thru Heyjom and provide the discount at
checkout (discount only applicable at respective online portal for normal & late entry fees).
• 5% discount : Early Entry (1st 200 slots only).

Prizes

All winners will be required to produce legal proof of identification and age in order to be eligible for prizes. Runners who fail to do so
will have their rank and prizes forfeited.

Finisher Tee (7 Hours)

Finisher T-shirt will only be awarded to 7 HOURS runners, who completed their race within cut off time. No exchange will be allowed
after confirmation of registration. Participants are advised to refer to the size chart and select their sizes carefully to avoid any sizing
issues.

Race Pack Collection

Reminder to participants:
• Please bring along softcopy of the confirmation slip from online registration provider and your IC or Passport when you redeem your race kit for
verification purposes.
• Collect on behalf of any relative or DID NOT START participant, COMPULSORY to show their softcopy of the confirmation slip and fill up
authorization form.
• Race kit will be forfeited if failed to collect during the stipulated date and time.

Mandatory Items Checking

Failure to adhere the mandatory items requirement will incur penalty leading to disqualification.


Compulsory to 7 HOURS runners to do mandatory items checking during RPC at Race Village. Please bring along your race bib
and Malaysian IC / Passport (for non-Malaysians) when you do redeem your mandatory items checking for verification. You also
required signing the INDEMNITY AND RELEASE FORM when you do mandatory items checking. You are NOT ALLOWED to do
mandatory items checking on behalf of other runners.
Runners are required to bring the mandatory items throughout the entire race. Random checks will be performed by the race officials
before and during the race. Failure to comply or the mandatory items are not functioning, participants are will incur a penalty or not
allowed to continue the race and will be disqualified. Any decision made is at the organizer’s discretion and it will be final.

Special Needs Bag / Drop Bag

Only 7 HOURS runners can drop their special needs bag at Check Point (Race Village) so runners can plan properly the additional
supply they may require throughout the race course.

All participants may utilize the service provided at the starting line to drop off any bags that you will require post-race in advance.
Runners must provide their own bags, label it with bib number, secure them firmly and deposit at least 1 hour before flag off.
All belonging must be collected before 6.00pm on Saturday (7 hours category) and 11:00am on Sunday (Fast Trail category). The
organizer takes no responsibility for the contents of the bag, for theft or loss of item.

Did Not Finish (DNF)

You will be considered as DNF too if you unable to reach the designated Check Point within the cut off time. Kindly cooperate with the
official on duty and allow them to carry out the DNF procedure.
If you decided to quit during the race, kindly report to the nearest Check Point and follow further instruction by the officials. You may
return to the finish line by yourself or in case of injuries, wait for medical assistant.
DNF participants are not entitled for finisher items.
Did Not Finish (DNF) - OPTION
If you do not manage to complete the race within the specified time you are eligible to redeem the finishing medal only by participating
in the FAST TRAIL event for free.
• Must re-register at Secretariat.
• Must be use same bib.
• Race bib are non-transferable. You cannot give or sell your race number to another person.
• Not entitle for podium.

Disqualified (DQ)

You will be disqualified (DQ) if you were found cheating by taking shortcuts, use any sort of vehicle for assistance, do not carry the
mandatory items or commit any act harmful to other runners and officials.
DQ participants are not entitled for finisher items.

Medical & Insurance

1. There will be medical personnel on standby at the race site.
2. Ambulance service is on standby as well for emergency cases.
3. Participants are responsible to ensure that they are fit and healthy before starting the race. Please consult your doctor if there is
any doubt.
4. Participants are to accept the risk associated with the event as per indemnity clause stated in the registration form.
5. The organizer will not be held responsible for any claim resulted from this event.
6. It is recommended that you have personal accident insurance or health insurance.
7. Organiser will only provide insurance scheme Group Personal Accident (Short Period).

Terms & Conditions

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
1. Any online registration that is not followed up with online payment will become invalid registration.
2. No multiple entries per participant. No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
3. Please ensure your personal details are entered accurately to avoid any issue during the race pack collection or any other event
related purpose that require your personal info.
4. Some of your personal info such as name, date of birth, nationality and race result will be shared with external party for qualifying
and championship processing. Same set of info might be shared with the authorities and insurance companies for Group
Personal Accident policy issuance.
5. There is no pre-requisite of completing any other trail running race to participate in TRAIL ENDURANCE SERIES. It is
participants responsibility to ensure you are physically fit to complete the distance you have registered, monitor your health
during the race, including knowing when to withdraw from the race if you are no longer able to continue.


RACE RULES


1. You must complete the race entirely on foot with no external assistance or pacer.
2. It’s forbidden to be accompanied along the race course by anyone other than another registered participant during the race and
use of, will result in my disqualification.
3. Your race bib must be visible to event crew at all times during the race. It should be worn on the outside of your clothing on the
front of your body over your belly or chest, not at your back, on your pant or any other fancy location on your body.
4. You must conduct yourself in a sporting, professional and cautious manner during the participation in the event and understand
that you may be disqualified if do not do so.
5. You acknowledge that your registration is personal to you, and it’s not transferable to other person without the stated process
above.
6. You agree to retire immediately from the event if ordered to do so by the Event Organisers, crews or marshal, or any government
official.
7. You accept full liability for any medical expenses incurred because of training for and/or participating in the Event.

8. You will be immediately disqualified from the Event if you found to have intentionally shortened the route of the Event.
9. You will be immediately disqualified from the Event if you found to be deliberately littering the course.
10. You accept that the event organisers reserve the right to amend the event format or cancel the Event due to health and safety
reasons, including storm, rain, inclement weather, winds or any other act of God conditions. You accept that the Entry fee shall
be non-refundable in this circumstance as costs have already been incurred.
11. You accept that the Event Organisers will do their utmost to provide me with a finish time following my completion of the Event,
however, they will not be held responsible for any computer result anomalies.
12. You agree that you should only be withdrawing from the Event at a pre-defined checkpoint. It is not the Event Organisers
responsibility to pick up a runner at any point of the race course unless you are medically unfit.
13. You agree to notify the timing officials at the race site of your withdrawal from the race. This will ensure all participants who are
registered and pull out of the race are accounted for, allowing for the accurate and safe running of the event.
14. You accept that all decisions and rulings by the Event Organisers, its crew or marshal are considered final.
