Rules & Regulations

Participant Eligibility:

  1. The fun run event is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
  2. Participants under the age 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
  3. Participants should be in good health and capable of completing the run.

Registration:

  1. All participants must register online prior to the event.
  2. Participants acknowledge and agrees that the entry fees and other transaction costs of the event are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deferrable for any reasons that are beyond control of the event organizer.
  3. Participants must provide accurate personal information during registration.

Event Conduct:

  1. All participants must display good sportsmanship and respect fellow participants, volunteers, and event staff.
  2. Participants must follow instructions from event’s organizer and abide by all event signage and markings.

Safety:

  1. Participants are responsible for their own safety during the event.
  2. Running with headphones or other listening devices is permitted but participants must remain aware of their surroundings.
  3. Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course.

Course regulations:

  1. Participants must stay on the designated course at all times.
  2. Aid stations will be provided along the course for hydration and medical assistance if needed.

Changes and Cancellations:

  1. The Organizer reserve the right to change the date, venue or postponed or cancelled the event at any time without prior notice to participants, in which case the Organizer will make effort to inform the participant prior to the date.
  2. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the event may be postponed or canceled. Participants will be notified of any changes.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these terms and conditions and any other rules and regulations of the event of at any given time as Organizer deem fit or necessary without prior notice.

Pictures and Documentations:

  1. The organizer shall be entitled to use pictures and documentation of the participants taken during the event for purposes related with the event or any future events.

By registering for the fun run event, participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations. Event organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants who fail to comply with these guidelines or engage in any behavior deemed detrimental to the event or its participants.

 

Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs )

1.    Are there age limits for this event?

a.    This event is open to all age groups. However, those under 18 years old will be required to have consent and supervision of an adult on the race day.

2.    Would it be feasible to arrange for the postage of the race pack if I'm unable to collect it on the specified date?

a.    Yes. Kindly contact our event organisers to arrange for delivery and provide your mailing address. Additional postage fees may apply.

b.      Organisers will not be held responsible if the parcel did not arrive before the event day.

3.    Can I have a representative to collect for my running pack?

a.    Yes, you may appoint a representative. Kindly make sure the representative brings/shows your copy of Identification Card and Payment Receipt for verification purposes.

4.      Can I collect my race pack on the day of the event?

no, there will be no running pack collection on the day of the event.

5.    Can I withdraw from the races?

a.    Yes, of course, however we are unable to provide refunds.

6.    What happens if it is raining on the event day?

a.    The event will continue as planned. If there are adverse weather conditions such as thunder and lightning, we will delay the start times of the races until it is considered safe to run.

7.      Do I need to buy insurance?

all participants will be covered with insurance provided by event organisers.

8.    What time does the event finish?

a.    It is subject to weather conditions. However, we are estimating the event to end at 11:00pm.

9.      How and when will I receive my e- cert after the event?

e- cert will be delivered to the given email address during registration after 2 weeks of the event.

10.   Where can I check for photos and extra details of the event?

you can visit the event organisers main page on facebook (Persatuan Pembangunan Minda Sihat). 

11.  Is there any other interesting program during the event?

there will be:

-          free mental health screening.

-          Kawad Senyap show by Malaysian Navy.

-          stage show

-          lucky draw with a special gift.

12.  When will I receive my medal and refreshment?

medals and refreshment can be collected at the finishing line after completing the run.
